The Monte San Bartolo Nature Park is situated within the Province of Pesaro & Urbino and covers a total geographical area of around 16 square kilometres.

Monte San Bartolo Nature Park is a scenic coastal park located in the Marche region of central Italy. Situated between the towns of Pesaro and Gabicce Mare, the park is renowned for its stunning cliffs, diverse flora and fauna, and panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea.
History
The area of Monte San Bartolo has a long history dating back to ancient times. It was once inhabited by various ancient civilizations, including the Etruscans and Romans. Throughout history, the region saw the influence of various rulers and dynasties, including the Malatesta and the Papal States.

In more recent times, the area became an important defensive point during World War II, and remnants of fortifications and military structures can still be found within the park.
