How to Get to Catanzaro Lido
​By Rail: Catanzaro Lido has its own train station, located within walking distance of the town centre. It lies on the Jonica line operated by Trenitalia, with direct regional services running north to Crotone and south to Roccella Ionica and Reggio Calabria. The station also connects inland to the main Catanzaro station via a local service.

By Road: Catanzaro Lido is situated on the SS106 Jonica coastal road, providing direct access along the Ionian coast. It is about 15 minutes (10 kilometres) from central Catanzaro, 50 minutes (55 kilometres) from Lamezia Terme, and around 1 hour 30 minutes (100 kilometres) from Crotone. Ample public parking is available near the seafront and around the town.

Nearest International Airports:

  • Lamezia Terme Airport: Approximately 45 kilometres away, with a drive time of about 50 minutes. This airport is the main international gateway for the region, offering both domestic and seasonal European flights. Airport transfers, taxis and car hire options are available for travel to the Ionian coast.
  • Crotone Airport: Located roughly 90 kilometres north, around 1 hour 15 minutes by car. It offers limited domestic flights and is best reached via the SS106.
