The hill town of Mistretta is situated within the Metropolitan City of Messina province, a distance of 115 kilometres east of Palermo, the regional capital of Sicily.
Standing at an elevation of 970 metres above sea level it has a population of around 4,500 residents. Nearby places of interest include Nicosia, Sperlinga, Troina, Gagliano Castelferrato and Gangi. The recommended accommodation for Mistretta is called the Heart of Sicily. |
