Trequanda is included in the list of Bandiera Arancione (Orange Flag) towns; one of 24 in Tuscany to have the same award. The most memorable sight in the little centro storico is the Chiesa dei Santi Pietro e Andrea which dates back to the 14th century.
Once important enough to be graced by the presence of a pope, its distinctive facade with a chequerboard pattern of different coloured stones gives way to an intimate yet majestic interior. The church is situated on the rectangular Piazza Garibaldi around which there are a couple of places to eat and drink. Another of Trquanda's sights is the Castello Cacciaconti which greets visitors as they enter the town.
