Orange  Flag  Towns  of  Tuscany

The Orange Flag towns of Tuscany is a collection of 24 of the region's most attractive locations. Organised by the Touring Club Italiano association, the Bandiera Arancione is awarded to a relatively small number of towns in Italy that are worthy of merit in terms of their aesthetic charms and facilities for tourism. 

Tuscany has by far the largest number of these towns within its environs with some of the highlights including the likes of San Gimignano, Pitigliano and Chiusi. A significant number of these towns and villages also appear on the list of Tuscany's Borghi Più Belli d'Italia which are typically slightly smaller villages.
