  • Spiaggia di Caminia is a small, curved beach known for its fine sand and clear, shallow waters. Bordered by low cliffs and rocky outcrops, it is popular for swimming and snorkelling. The beach includes both free areas and organised lidos with sunbed rental and beach bars open in summer.
  • Grotta di San Gregorio Taumaturgo is a cave carved into the cliffs at the northern end of the beach, traditionally associated with Saint Gregory the Wonderworker. It has been used as a place of worship and pilgrimage and is still marked with a cross and small altar inside. The cave is accessible on foot along the shore.
  • Coastal Rock Formations and Snorkelling Spots surround the bay, with clear waters revealing underwater caves, seabeds, and schools of fish. The rocky points are ideal for snorkelling, especially around the edges of the beach. Equipment rental is available from local kiosks in the high season.
  • Walking Path to Copanello leads over the headland to the neighbouring village and offers panoramic views over the Gulf of Squillace. The trail follows a partly shaded route through Mediterranean scrub and open viewpoints. It is suitable for casual walkers and takes about 30–40 minutes each way.
  • Clifftop Lookout Points are located above the beach and accessible by road or short footpaths, offering views of the Ionian coastline and surrounding hills. These spots are popular for photography at sunset and provide a quiet alternative to the busier beach areas below. Limited parking is available nearby.

How to Get to Caminia
By Rail: The nearest train station to Caminia is in Davoli Marina, around 6 kilometres to the south, or in Soverato, approximately 8 kilometres away. Both stations are served by regional Trenitalia services along the Jonica line, offering direct connections to towns such as Catanzaro Lido, Roccella Ionica, and Crotone. From the station, local taxis or car hire are required to reach Caminia.

By Road: Caminia is located just off the SS106 coastal road, around 15 minutes (10 kilometres) south of Catanzaro Lido and 5 minutes (4 kilometres) from Stalettì. It is approximately 50 minutes (50 kilometres) from Lamezia Terme and 1 hour 30 minutes (95 kilometres) from Crotone. Parking is available near the beach, though it can be limited in peak season.

  • Lamezia Terme Airport: Situated around 55 kilometres away, with a driving time of just under an hour. This is the main airport for international visitors, offering connections across Italy and Europe. Travel to Caminia is possible by car, taxi, or private transfer.
  • Crotone Airport: About 95 kilometres to the north, roughly 1 hour 30 minutes by car. It offers limited domestic services and is accessed via the SS106 along the Ionian coast.
