How to Get to Soverato
By Rail: Soverato has its own train station on the Jonica railway line, operated by Trenitalia. Regular regional trains run along the coast, providing direct links to Catanzaro Lido, Roccella Ionica, and Reggio Calabria. The station is centrally located and within walking distance of both the beach and town centre.

By Road: The town lies along the SS106 coastal road, making it easily accessible from other parts of Calabria. It is around 35 minutes (33 kilometres) from Catanzaro and just over 1 hour (65 kilometres) from Lamezia Terme by car. Parking is available near the beach and throughout the town.

Nearest International Airports:

  • Lamezia Terme Airport: Located about 60 kilometres from Soverato, with a journey time of approximately 1 hour. It offers frequent flights to major Italian cities and several international destinations.
  • Reggio Calabria Airport: Around 130 kilometres south, reachable in just under 2 hours by car. A smaller airport, but it provides some domestic connections, especially to Sicily and Rome.
  • Crotone Airport: Situated about 90 kilometres north, taking just over 1 hour 15 minutes to reach by car. Seasonal flights operate to a few destinations within Italy.
