The hill town of Labro is one of the most striking sights in the area around Lake Piediluco. The Comune of Labro is officially a part of the Rieti Province in Lazio, whereas the Lake, which is just seven kilometres to its west, is across the regional border in Umbria.
Labro is included in the list of Bandiera Arancione or Orange Flag towns of Lazio, celebrated for its historic streets and sights. |
The most famous of those sights is the Castello Nobili Vitelleschi for which it's possible to arrange a guided tour for €10.
