The beach resort of Lido di Policoro is part of the comune of Policoro, situated on the Ionian Coast, in the Province of Matera. 

Potenza, the capital of Basilicata, lies 133 kilometres north west of Lido di Policoro by road. Places of interest nearby include Lido di Scanzano, Marina di Pisticci and Rotondella. The beach at Lido di Policoro again earned the Blue Flag award in 2024.

Lido di Policoro is a coastal area located in the southern part of Basilicata, along the Ionian Sea. Situated within the municipality of Policoro, in the province of Matera, it is known for its beautiful beaches, clear waters, and laid-back atmosphere.
