The beach resort of Marina di Pisticci is part of the comune of Pisticci, situated on the Ionian Coast, in the Province of Matera. 

Potenza, the regional capital of Basilicata, lies around 140 kilometres north west of Marina di Pisticci by road.  Among the places of interest within a short distance are Metaponto Archaeological Park, Bernalda and Policoro.

Marina di Pisticci is a coastal area located in the southern part of Basilicata, near the Ionian Sea.
