How to Get to Porto Rotondo
By Rail: Porto Rotondo does not have its own train station. The closest station is in Olbia, approximately 18 kilometres to the south. Olbia is on the Cagliari–Golfo Aranci railway line, with Trenitalia regional trains providing connections to other Sardinian towns. From Olbia, Porto Rotondo can be reached by car or local bus, with a journey time of about 25 minutes.

By Road: Porto Rotondo is situated on Sardinia’s north-eastern coast, roughly 18 kilometres north-east of Olbia. It can be accessed via the SP73 and SP99 roads, with a driving time of around 25 minutes from Olbia. Public parking is available near the marina and main square.

  • Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport: Located about 20 kilometres from Porto Rotondo, the drive takes approximately 25 minutes. The airport handles a wide range of seasonal and year-round domestic and international flights.
  • Alghero-Fertilia Airport: Roughly 150 kilometres to the west, the drive takes around 2 hours and 15 minutes via the SS729 and SS597 roads.
