Hill  Towns  of  Campania

The hill towns of Campania for the most part occupy the region's vast hinterland which remains firmly off the beaten track for the majority of its visitors.

​With world-famous islands and coastal areas within its environs its understandable that Campania's interior goes relatively unnoticed, but for those who want to get a real taste of the region's traditional culture, these are the places where you're most likely to find it. 

One of the prettiest towns, Raito is just a short distance inland of the Amalfi Coast while Valogno's murals are a wonderful surprise.
